This all new 12mm 24 strand climbing line from Yale Cordage is uses the same manufacturing and construction processes as the 11.7mm Blue Moon rope that has been so popular in the US.
This rope gives climbers all the advantages and characteristics of a lightweight 11.7mm rope but with the feel of a 13mm rope in the hand.
Yale have developed and incorporated a new type of taslanized (textured) fiber into the rope structure which provides bulk, and therefore an enhanced grip for better ergonomics. This fiber is blended with a 100% solution dyed filament polyester during construction. This unique blend allows the fibers to be exposed on both the outer sheath and also on the inside of the sheath providing more friction to the inner core which helps to minimize excessive elongation while providing a superior and unsurpassed grip for the climber.
Imori can be spliced and is fully CE certified to EN1891 Type A.
