The Scarab is a descender designed specifically for Technical Rope Access and Intervention purposes by Police and Special Forces, who require a multi-use rope adjustment device that can take the load of two people for the purposes of rescue. In Technical Rope Access it must always be used in conjunction with a Type A device or an EN353-2 back-up device and safety line.The SCARAB is also ideal as a descent device for Arborists who are exiting the tree via a long rope descent.
